RE: re cant buy

Country is run by a bunch of incompetent baffoons trying to do a deal with a broken institution that is the EU that will do anything to make it even more difficult for those baffoons.

RE: Can't buy

moneyhawk you will always see those that claim to bought just before the spike and got out at the zenith, never managed the zenith, always tried to sell some on the way up and few more when I (or my chartist son) have judged we are over the top. Never sold completely out but hold a few million so happy to take a chance.
Last peak just before Icewine suspension I ignored my son and sold only 300K but you never know do you, my money, my decision, my fault. :-)
This can be a hard share because its traded ~15hours a day across 3 markets with a big time zone difference ~11 hours, so announcements can be acted on by one market and by the time the other time zone opens the die is set.

RE: Can't buy

It is of course much easier to see the spike after the event! Very difficult to trade unless you work on % gains, don't get greedy and ignore all the noise. Which is why a lot of people choose to set a target and hold until it gets there, sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn't.

Cjml but those opportunities have included Yukon and WINX and that part of the Western Fairway that a farminee would be interested in, you can't have your cake and eat it in O & G exploration.
Since investing in TPET I have had no option but to trade on the spikes and take my chances, so no criticism intended if that is your strategy after all its your money

RE: Can't buy

Personally I don't see the FO as the biggest news story. We all expect it to be a major, and I'm sure the impact of their involvement and refund of cash to the company is already factored in to a large extent. There may be an sp uplift to some degree I accept.

Personally I think it is Winx that will define us in the weeks and months to come, and succes there should put us on track for significant sp rises.

CJML, I think you've missed the boat for 1.06, sellers seem to be holding out for 1.1 to 1.15 at present. In 6 weeks I think we'll be looking at 2p+, but beyond that we'll have news on Flow Test, but the joker in the pack is the FO, that could break anytime in Q1 - but if it comes shortly before the FT, it will amplify the effect on the sp.

RE: Can't buy

Shouldn't you always sell on spikes? I use degiro, and am averaging down a bit.
Feeling disappointed when told current projects are fully funded, then anouncing a placement to fully fund another "oportunity" that he couldn't pass up, and venting my frustration at yet another string to the bow that causes more dilution, yeah I think I'm entitled to be sceptical as to what DW says.
