Report of e-mail from CH

(Alleged) e-mail of responses from CH.

If true, things are proceeding as well as they can in the current conditions.

(It seems that some PI's went full on in their threats to ARSO if the police is now being involved!!)

RE: Just another De-ramper !

Sacking the guy (all assuming he was indeed sacked) for not having created more delay would be too much of an obvious spotlight on corruption.

Even more so now since the British embassy has been involved for months as well.

It's more likely (but by no means certain) that the sacking was done ahead of that meeting with Ascent to demonstrate some good will from the part of the Slovenian authorities.

But again, this is all speculation.

RE: Just another De-ramper !

I agree as well in that the courts backed AST, and he could therefore have been forced to resign over the length of time taken to grant the permits. However why mention inappropriate foreign pressure? It's clearly possible that he was sacked for bowing to " pressure" and not continuing to create delays.
Flushing the ministerial decision and then pursuing the most effective course of action is imperative

RE: Just another De-ramper !

conrad02 - that's a perfectly reasonable interpretation too.

I only deem it less likely because even Slovenian judges ruled in Ascent's favour over the past 2.5 years, so suggesting that the permit was on its way was consistent with the legal position in Slovenia.

But ultimately, this is all speculation.

However, I bought several big fat loads of shares today as I expect it to go much further back up very soon.

Gas price...

Still rising and up more than 25% in the last few weeks...surely will impact our monthly income and the potential prospects longer term.

lejjb, I hope you right...but he could have been fired for saying we will get the permits.

Patience

For what it's worth I think the recent optimistic view is designed to flush an official position from the minister. After that we can decide how we proceed
