Oil Services

We need to keep the pressure on COPL

Very encouraging to See Beattie post on Twitter that drilling in Q1. That HAS to mean NNPC approvals and OIl Services very soon.

I think by end Autumn was Arthur's phrae two press releases ago. Although Canadian Autumn doesnt end until 21 December

RE: hey ho

Yes Jiving.. We as SH are a lot further forward than we know. as no returns re nnpc we only know from interims. this shows us a lot is going on behind the scenes. I can see maybe no spa unti jan at latest. i hope it comes in next 4 weeks. the reality is it proves Kola has been doing his part. That was Art who got him on board. a lot of positives that on news will see us back to 2/3p imo. This is why i bought more and why i hold.

RE: hey ho

Agree completely Jay. Arthur has had self inflicted credibility issues particularly from his previous pump/dump exercises in 2017. But now we do appear finally on the cusp of success with the Essar Mauritius issue on the back-burner. The NNPC licence extension was clear independent proof that the NNPC is onboard for the OPL226 plans - something it seems they never were with Essar. Two SP's showing strong interest, again independently corroborates the commercial attractiveness of the project, and gives a high likelihood of getting a viable SPA with finance. It all seems to be coming together finally, my main concern now is getting it signed & sealed prior to Nigerian election on 16 February, some 3 months away.

RE: hey ho

look the bottom line here is the oil, is still there. We have made leaps and bounds. We can not blame art for EN decision to waste 60 days. They did nothing. WHY? It was a negotiation over a deal, ie money. They wanted more. It also happened at the same time as Essar were loosing their parent/holding company in India (they are indian ).
Yes art has in the past either mislead or been mislead.
We now have DPR/NNPC ext. 2 SPA providers wanting the work. I take this as one giant step forward... imo

Got to remember this also

We envision building a mid-tier oil and gas company with the support of our partner Shoreline Energy, one of Nigeria`s largest conglomerates, our financing partners and our loyal shareholders”

In the meantime, our team continues to review additional prospects in an effort to identify other exciting opportunities that fit our selective criteria,” the COPL chief executive said.

RE: Response from Cathy

Also either side of New Year we should get a Mozambique deal sorted with the Govt. As that would involve exploratory drilling in 2019, next to a vast existing gas/oil field this could be our second project driving the share price in 2019.

RE: Response from Cathy

At least we know when its not going to be.. Well done Funky and NoEasy won't have to bare all. From what we now know, can we establish our own timeframes for future positive action?Drilling in Jan. Feb or March???? Of course there will have to be lots of Investor enriching news before the drill so each new revelation will put a huge smile on every face.So looks like 2019 is going to be our year.
